Weekly Announcements 3/6/23-3/10/23

Busy Week Ahead:

This week will host our first book fair of the 22-23 school year. Students were able to participate in a quick walk-through on Friday to look at the items being offered.

This week is also National School Breakfast week. Tuesday-Thursday we will have a different theme for students and parents to participate in. Tuesday is Donuts for Dads. We invite dads and/or father figures to come out and eat breakfast with their child/children.

Wednesday is Muffins for Moms. We invite moms and/or mother figures to come out and eat breakfast with their child/children.

Thursday is grandparents day. We invite grandparents out to eat breakfast with their grandchild/grandchildren.

Participants and students will eat in the cafeteria and can join us from 7:30-8:25. The cost for breakfast for adults is $2.25.

Technically, Read Across America Week began last week. However, since students were participating in our last Check-in of the year, we did not want them to miss out on the full week of activities, so we are celebrating Read Across America this week.

We want to thank all of the volunteers who have agreed to come out and read to our students. Your overwhelming support is greatly appreciated! You can find the theme for each day below.

Daily Themes:
Monday-Hat Day
Tuesday- Wear something green
Wednesday-Mismatched or silly socks
Thursday- Pajama Day
Friday-Dress for Success. We will be taking Spring and Class pictures
