Our mClass reading assessment window is over on Tuesday.

Please come out and join us for our Title 1 Parent Night / Touch a Truck event on Thursday from 5:30-6:30. We will begin in the media center at 5:30.

Friday is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm.

We will continue with our beginning of the year mClass reading assessments this week.

On Tuesday, we will have our first lockdown drill of the year. A letter regarding this went home in last week’s Thursday folder. Also, on Tuesday, we will have our School Improvement Team meeting at 3:30 in the media center. Parents are welcome to join us.

Progress reports will go home on Thursday of this week. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns regarding your child’s progress.

Looking ahead: We will host our Title 1 Parent Night and Touch a Truck event on Thursday, September 26th from 5:30-6:30. You do not want to miss this event!

This week we will continue with our beginning of the year mClass reading assessments.

Parents, we need your help. Please do not drop off car riders to walk in the building before 7:50. All car riders should wait in the line to be dropped off unless a parent wants to walk them in. Students cannot be walked in until 7:50.
Car riders enter the building through the main lobby or the side entrance by the cones. Car riders should not enter on the bus lot unless it is a Pre-K student and siblings. If you have any questions, please feel free to speak with one of our staff members on duty. We appreciate your help with this!

We would like to thank you for an awesome first week of school and for your understanding and flexibility with dismissal this week!

Please note that we will now take in students in the morning at 7:50. We believe this will help with the traffic flow.

There is no school on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Students return on Tuesday.

Students will begin their BOY iReady and mClass assessments this week.

On Thursday, September 5th, third grade students will take the Beginning of Grade test. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions

We are super excited to welcome students back to school on Monday, August 26th. We also want to thank our families for an amazing Open House. It was great to have our families in the building and to feel all of the positive energy as we begin the 24-25 school year!

If you were unable to attend Open House, your child will bring home all of the information Monday afternoon. We ask that all necessary beginning of year paperwork be returned to your child’s teacher no later than Wednesday, August 30th.

Some important notes for the 24-25 school year:

-Parents are invited to walk their child(ren) inside each day. If you wish to walk your child to class, please enter through the main entrance of the building to sign in.
However, we do ask that you exit the building at 8:05 so instruction may begin. If your child arrives late, you will not be able to walk him/her to class.
-Parents should remain in their car during dismissal time. Parents are not allowed to walk up to pick up a child unless it is a Pre-K student.
-Any adult picking up a child in the car rider line must have a placard to do so. If you need car placards, please complete the form so you can receive them.

We all know that the first day of school is the busiest, especially during arrival and dismissal, so we appreciate your patience as safety is our first priority:) We also ask for your patience with bus routes. It takes a few days for the times to be concise.
