About Mrs. Biggs
Welcome!
My name is Chrissy Biggs. I love teaching third grade. Since I was a child playing school with my dolls, I have known that I wanted to be a teacher. Teaching has the power to shape the future because our children are the future. It is a privilege to get to be apart of their lives.
I am originally from Creswell, NC. I currently live in Creswell with my husband, Paul, and my 2-year-old son, Parker. I graduated from William Peace University in Raleigh with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Afterward, I attended East Carolina University graduating with a Masters in Education. I have been featured as Washington County Teacher of the Year and WITN Teacher of the Week. Currently, I have taught third grade for about ten years and fourth grade for about two years. Before working in Tyrrell County Schools, I taught at Creswell Elementary School.
Other than teaching, I like to do photography and spend time with my family.
