Mrs. Hill

Hello bulldog families! My name is Greta (Cutrell) Hill and I am the 5th grade Science teacher at TES. I graduated from Chowan University in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Elizabeth City State University in 2010 with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, and received my AIG certification from East Carolina University in 2013.  The 2020/2021 school year will make my 18th year in education; all served at TES in the capacity a teacher to 2nd, 4th, and 5th graders. The beginning of a school year is always my favorite time of year because it means I get to meet new students and introduce them to my love of science, in hopes they will love it as much as I do!
When I'm not in school, I am usually on the baseball field supporting my husband: he's the varsity baseball coach for Currituck County High School. We love all things sports and enjoy watching the New York Yankees win a game from time to time!  Other than that, I enjoy spending time with my family as much as I can!
This year, my goal is to provide my students with quality education, mentorship, and a safe and warm environment in which they can learn. I look forward to meeting my students and working with my parents; as it takes a village to help them grow!  I can't do it without YOU!
