Big Idea-February 2020

The Core Essentials character trait for the month of February is Creativity. Throughout this month students will "say it, know it, see it, be it". Students will also learn the significance of the animal (chameleon) and the color (lime green). Please help us promote our students showing honorable character this month.

World Read Aloud Day

World Read Aloud Day

Wednesday, February 5th is World Read Aloud Day. TES will be reading even more than usual this day, and we invite each child to dress as their favorite book character for this special day of reading. Who is your favorite character? Fancy Nancy? The Wimpy Kid? Pete the Cat? Get creative and show them off! Please remember that all costumes must be school appropriate.

2nd Nine Weeks Awards Ceremony

TES will host our 2nd Nine Weeks Awards program on Wednesday, January 22nd. Please see below regarding the different program times. We want to invite you to help us congratulate our students and their hard work.

Kindergarten through 1st: 1:20-1:55
2nd through 3rd: 2:00-2:25
4th through 5th: 2:30-3:00

AIG District Meeting

There will be a AIG District Meeting will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 3:30 at Columbia High School in the Student Life Center and we would like to invite you to attend. In this meeting we will have the opportunity to go over the comments that the State AIG department has sent back regarding our Local AIG plan. There are areas that we need to address, correct, and then resubmit the plan and we would love to have your input.
