SCA Food Drive

The Student Council will begin collecting food items on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Food collections will continue until Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Food donations will be collected daily in your child’s classroom. The classroom that accumulates the highest number of food items will receive a popcorn and movie party. Donations can be any unexpired, non-perishable food items. All food collected at Tyrrell Elementary School will be boxed and delivered to the Tyrrell County Food Bank for distribution. Please help support local families in need. Thank you in advance and start sending in your donations!

District Low Performing Plan

In accordance with North Carolina General Statute; “A Low-performing local school administrative unit is a unit in which the majority of the schools in that unit that received a school performance grade and school growth score as provided in G.S. 115C-83.15 have been identified as low-performing schools, as provided in G.S. 115C-105.37.” (G.S. 115C-105.39A(a)).
