Our rescheduled School Improvement Team meeting will take place tomorrow at 3:30 pm in the Media Center.

Looking ahead: Progress reports go home on Thursday, February 29th. We will also host our math night and Black History program on February 29th from 6:00-7:00 pm. We hope you will join us!

March 1st is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm.

Parent Conferences will continue this week. Please be sure you have scheduled a time to meet with your child’s teacher.

On Tuesday, we will have our School Improvement Team meeting at 3:30 in the media center. Parents are welcome to join us.

Thursday is an Early Release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM. We will still have the TES After School program on this day.

Math Boot Camp hours on Thursday, February 15th will be from 1:30-3:00 due to the Early Release.

This week is National School Counseling Week. Please be sure to thank Mrs. Edge and show her lots of love! We are very thankful for what she does for students, staff, and parents at TES!

Wednesday we will celebrate the 100th day of school. Students are encouraged to dress like they are 100 years old. Please, no bedroom shoes.:)

Also on Wednesday, we will host our Pre-K Raising a Reader night. Pre-K parents are encouraged to join us from 5:00-6:00 PM.

Friday we will have our CandyMan Main Event for eligible students from 1:30-2:30 PM in the TES gym.

Tuesday of this week concludes our MOY DIBELS Reading Assessment window.

Report cards go home on Wednesday. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns. Our parent conference window will begin the week of February 5th.

Thursday we will have our 2nd Quarter PBIS Celebration. Students who have met the criteria will be able to attend.

On Friday, we will have our Awards Ceremony in the gym. K-2 will take place at 1:00 pm and 3rd-5th will take place at 2:00 pm.

School pictures will be taken on Monday, January 22nd.

On Thursday, January 25th, we will host our TCS Parent Night in the CHS Auditorium . Child care will be provided. Please note that the time for this event is 6:30-8:30 PM. (The Fridge Note stated 6:00-8:00 but that time has been adjusted.)

Friday is a required Teacher Work Day. There is no school for students Friday, January 26th.

This week our K-3 students will continue with the MOY Dibels Reading assessment. Our 3rd-5th grade students will take the second NC Check-in of the year.

Monday, there is no school for students in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

On Tuesday, 3rd-5th students will take the ELA Check-in.

Fifth grade students will take the Science Check-in on Wednesday. Wednesday is also an Early Release Day. Students will be released at 1:00 PM.

On Thursday, 3rd-5th students will take the Math Check-in.

Friday, any 3rd-5th student who was absent will have the opportunity to make up any NC Check-in he/she missed.

Also, don’t forget to provide feedback on our first TES Fridge Note. I would love to hear what you think and/or what you would like to see on it:)

Please be on the lookout for Thursday folders today. In today's folder you will find a Fridge Note.
The purpose of the Fridge Note is to share with families important information and events that will take place during the month. Moving forward, I will send these home at the first of the month each month in Thursday folders.

I will continue to post our weekly announcements and complete our weekly call. However, I feel it will also be nice for families to have more notice and a paper copy to put your fridge:)
