Come out and join us for Open House on August 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Good afternoon TES Families,

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I wanted to send out a few important reminders / information as we get closer to the opening of the 23-24 school year.

1. Please be sure the school has your current address and telephone number.

2. If your child needs bus transportation and your information has changed, please don't forget to complete the transportation form so we can get them assigned to a bus. You do not have to complete a transportation form if your information is the same as last year.

3. School supplies will be provided by TES for your child. However, please feel free to purchase additional items, if you wish, for your child.

4. We will continue with our car rider placard system for the 23-24 school year. The google form for this will be posted the week of August 14th.

5. We are excited to announce that we will also continue with our Free After School Program!
Students enrolled last year will automatically be given a slot for the 23-24 school year. We will post if and when additional slots are available for other families needing after school care.

Don't forget to join us for the Back to School Bash in the CMS/CHS front parking lot on August 11th from 5:30-7:30. All TES students will receive a free backpack!

It is hard to believe that this amazing school year is coming to an end this week! I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to TES families for all of their support and hard work this school year. It takes all of us working together to ensure success for our students and we did just that this year! I hope each of you have a wonderful summer. The 23-24 school year will be here before we know it and it is going to be even better!

As we close out the 22-23 school year, please help us celebrate. Our EOY Awards Celebration will be held tomorrow in the TES Gym. Kindergarten and first grade awards will take place at 1:00 pm. Second through fourth grade students will be celebrated beginning at 2:00 pm.

On Tuesday, we will host our 5th Grade Cookout at 12:00 pm. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions.

Wednesday is the last day of school. It is a full school day for students. We will hold our 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Wednesday at 9:00 am in the gym.

Thank you to our third through fifth grade parents for making sure your students were at school each day and on time for testing.

On Wednesday of this week, we will have a fifth grade transition night at 5:30 in the TES Media Center. During this time, parents of fifth grade students can come out and meet with Dr. Tripp to learn about the course offerings at CMS, ask questions, as well as sign up for classes.

On Thursday, students will participate in Fly Up Day. Fly Up Day is when students will spend time in the next grade level to see what it is like before they actually transition into the next grade level. (Please note that just because a student goes to a particular teacher’s class does not mean that that teacher will be their teacher for the upcoming school year.)

Friday we will host our 5th Grade Luncheon at 12:30 in the TES Cafeteria. Please be sure you have returned your child’s form to his/her homeroom teacher so we can plan accordingly.

Also, on Friday, we will have a Luau for our Positive Behavior Celebration. Any student who has not received more than one office or bus referral will be able to participate.

We hope all of our mothers and mother figures have a wonderful Mother’s Day tomorrow! We appreciate all you do for everyone!

On Tuesday of this week we will have our second semester Lockdown Drill. The drill will take place at 9:00 A.M. Please let your child know that this will be a drill.

Report cards go home on Thursday of this week. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s grades.

Kindergarten Registration will take place on Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. If you have a rising kindergarten student, please come out and get them registered for kindergarten. All registered kindergarten students will have the opportunity to participate in our Rise to Kindergarten Camp in June.

**Students currently enrolled in the Pre-K 4 program at TES do not have to register.**
