Weekly Announcements 3/25/24-3/29/24

If your child received an invitation to attend strategic after school tutoring, please be sure to turn it in to your child’s homeroom teacher on Monday.

The end of the third nine weeks is Thursday. Please be sure any missing assignments are turned in by this time.

There is no school on Friday in observance of Good Friday. We hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break from Monday, April 1st-Friday April 5th.

Monday, April 8th is a required teacher workday. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 9th.

Weekly Announcements 3/11/24-3/15/24

We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to all of our guest readers who took time out of their schedule to come and read to our students. We would also like to thank all of the parents and family members who came out to support our students during National School Breakfast week. The turnout each day was simply amazing!

Tuesday, we will have our March School Improvement team meeting at 3:30 in the media center. Parents are welcome to join us.

Looking ahead: The last NC Check-in of the year for 3rd-5th grades will take place the week of March 18th. Please be on the lookout for more information.

Weekly Announcements 2/26/24-3/1/24

Progress reports go home on Thursday.

Also, on Thursday, we will host our math night and Black History program from 6:00-7:00 pm in the TES gym. This is a special event you will not want to miss! We hope to see you here!

Don’t worry if you can’t join us Thursday night. We will host our program again, schoolwide, on Friday @ 9:00 am in the gym.

Friday is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. We will have After School.

SwiftK12 TCS Notification System Updates

We have recently made some changes to our district & school school notification system called SwiftK12.

This notification system is loaded with new features that will make it easier for us to keep contact with your family. To guarantee the notification system is used efficiently, we will need to confirm your contact information is accurate and up-to-date at all times.

SwiftK12 is integrated with the existing PowerSchool Parent Portal. When you login to the Parent Portal (we suggest you login using Chrome or Firefox) you will now see a new link called SwiftReach SwiftK12 on the left navigation pane under Alerting.

Parent Conferences will continue this week. Please be sure you have scheduled a time to meet with your child’s teacher.

On Tuesday, we will have our School Improvement Team meeting at 3:30 in the media center. Parents are welcome to join us.

Thursday is an Early Release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM. We will still have the TES After School program on this day.

Math Boot Camp hours on Thursday, February 15th will be from 1:30-3:00 due to the Early Release.
